At the back, it features double roundel and interesting horizontal detail reminiscent of the Jaguar F-Type. The front profile gets new adaptive LED headlights with signature ‘J’ blade DRLs, redesigned grille and front bumper with leaner air-intakes. Visually, the saloon has received comprehensive tweaks sporting new features on the outside. Underpinning a new platform, the new Jaguar XF measures 3mm lower and 7mm shorter than the model it precedes. Both the engines come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard. On the other hand, the all-new 2.0-litre diesel engine, from the Ingenium family, makes 177bhp and develops a peak torque of 430Nm. The petrol trim continues to use the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline motor that churns out 237bhp and develops a peak torque of 340Nm. The new Jaguar XF will be available in India in a total of three variants - Pure, Prestige, and Portfolio, in both petrol and diesel guises. It was in September 2016, that the company first launched the new XF and that time it was priced at Rs 49.50 lakh and so the base variant of the diesel is now Rss 2 lakh cheaper. The petrol on the other hand starts from Rs 52.50 lakh (three lakh cheaper than before) and goes up to 59.50 lakh.
The XF diesel now starts from Rs 47.50 Lakh and goes all the way upto 60.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Jaguar Land Rover India today announced the local manufacturing of the new Jaguar XF and which sees an overall price revision of the variants of the car.
